San Pedro House in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area is a good place to find many different kinds of birds. Although many of the birds come to the feeders, the Vermilion Flycatcher catches all of its meals in the adjacent field, then comes to perch in the tree next to the house. This photo won First Place in the Arizona Game and Fish (AZGFD) 2009 Calendar Contest, and appears on the calendar page for the month of February.
