A colorful sunset at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge with emphasis on the reflections in the pond. Sunsets are always the best in summer in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Because of the Northern lattitude, the days are really long, so this sunset happened at nearly 9 PM! If there were clouds in the sky near evening, I would always have my Canon EOS 20D set up with a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens and ready to do landscape photography. That way, unless I had some especially good bird subjects to photograph, I could easily photograph the amazing sunsets.
