Common Myna birds are everywhere on Maui, always looking for a dropped morsel of food. They're very bright, but like crows or starlings, they're loud and obmoxiious. This one was patrolling a popular beach (called "Airport Beach") adjacent to the resorts in Kaanapali, and looks stately as it looks out to sea. Mynas are a non-native species imported long ago.
