Antelope Canyon is amazing! Everywhere you look, there’s another amazing scene! In one section of the slot canyon, you have to look straight up to see a formation that looks like a John Ford western scene, and so it’s called the “Monument Valley” formation. When I saw this scene, the swirls above the “monument” looked to me like clouds billowing overhead, like a great cloud of dust caused by a herd of stampeding cattle in one of the old westerns. It reminded me of the song, “Ghost Riders in the Sky,” and I can imagine a great herd of buffalo running across the sky.
